About Us

Vanderhoof Outdoor Services was established in March of 2001. Owner Jason Vanderhoof had worked extensively in lawn maintenance and timber prior to beginning his entrepreneurial career. The business has grown from a single truck, mower and chainsaw to a regional enterprise with an entire fleet of vehicles and more than 20 employees. We now have multiple crews in each of five divisions—tree, lawn, landscape, irrigation and chemical applications.

In 2006 Vanderhoof Garden Center was opened to offer plants and landscape supplies to retail and wholesale customers. A relocation in 2010 gave the Garden Center an exciting NEW location with Interstate frontage at 8002 Hampton Road. We offer four season service and serve the Texarkana area as well as New Boston, DeKalb, Foreman, Atlanta, and Hope.

To provide the highest level of professionalism and quality service, we employ a professional arborist, two licensed irrigators and two licensed chemical applicators. We are members of a number of industry and professional organizations and regularly engage in training and continuing education.
